Day 1. Broome
Arrive in Broome and be transferred to the iconic Cable Beach Club Resort and Spa, where you will enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 2. Gibb River Road, Windjana Gorge, Tunnel Creek
Journey on the Gibb River Road to Windjana Gorge to see fossils embedded in the gorge walls and spot freshwater crocodiles. Travel to Tunnel Creek, a natural tunnel carved through the Napier Range and wade through the cool waters to view the wonderful oasis.

Day 3. Bell Gorge, Hiking and Swimming
Back on the Gibb River Road, travel to the King Leopold Range National Park, where you will discover Bell Gorge, considered to be one of the most spectacular gorges where rugged cliffs surround a series of tiered waterholes. Take a mesmerising swim beneath the waterfall, spot the fascinating bird life, or take an energetic hike through the spectacular wilderness.

Day 4. Galvans Gorge, Home Valley
Travel through the heart of Kimberley cattle country to discover some of the region’s most secluded gorges. At Galvans Gorge, inspect the fascinating rock art then take a refreshing swim in the pristine waters. Arrive at Home Valley Station and discover the spellbinding scenery that captivated audiences in Baz Luhrmann’s movie ‘Australia’, including the strikingly beautiful backdrop of the Cockburn Range. Experience a real outback adventure as you stay on this immense working cattle station.

Day 5. Home Valley Station, Emma Gorge
Gain fun-filled insight into the operation of a working station on the Home Valley Station Tour. Learn about their Indigenous training project and spot crocodiles at Ryder’s Hole. Later, cross the Pentecost River into El Questro Wilderness Park, covering a staggering one million acres. Here, be introduced to a huge variety of birds and a vast array of wildlife. Hike to the picturesque Emma Gorge and take a refreshing dip in its large cool waterhole set at the base of a towering 65-metre cliff, graced by a droplet waterfall. Tonight, indulge in a delicious dinner with your fellow travellers. Hidden near El Questro’s Cockburn Range lies Emma Gorge Resort. Immersed in nature, retreat to your private tented cabin.

Day 6. Ord River Wildlife Cruise, Lake Kununurra
Explore the beauty of Kununurra at leisure before travelling to Lake Argyle, the largest man-made lake in the Southern Hemisphere. Join a spectacular wildlife cruise on the mighty Ord River. Discover a fascinating ecological system that has developed from the damming of the Ord River at two locations to create an area that is rich in wildlife, flora and undeniable scenic beauty. Enjoy sunset while cruising Lake Kununurra.

Day 7. Purnululu National Park
Covering almost 240,000 hectares, World Heritage-listed Purnululu National Park is home to an amazing array of natural phenomena. It’s been around for 350 million years and has long been inhabited by local Indigenous people, however the striking Bungle Bungle Range was a secret from the outside world until 1983. Be amazed by the magnificent sandstone beehive formations then stroll along the serene Piccaninny Creek. Admire the Echidna Chasm, a long and narrow chasm. It has striking colour variations, depending on the angle of the sun beaming into the chasm, with Livistonia palms waving from the 200-metre high ridges above.

Day 8. Piccaninny Creek, Cathedral Gorge
Explore the magic of Purnululu for yourself, and discover the depth of the Bungle Bungle Range. Walk along Piccaninny Creek, a winding gorge within the high walls of the Bungle Bungle domes. Enter the natural amphitheatre of Cathedral Gorge, a spacious cavern where the acoustics are astounding. Marvel at the majestic beehive domes as your guide brings the natural history of the range to life. You may like to experience an optional scenic helicopter flight over the domes - own expense. As the sun begins to set, savour the truly magnificent scene created by the striking colours of the domes.

Day 9. Halls Creek, Fitzroy Crossing
Head to Halls Creek located at the northern edge of the Great Sandy Desert, and admire the unusual China Wall, a natural quartz formation which runs six kilometres along the landscape, which is also considered the longest single fault of its type in the world. Continue towards Fitzroy Crossing, a small settlement and a true outback town situated on the mighty Fitzroy River.

Day 10. Geikie Gorge, Broome
Travel to Geikie Gorge National Park and explore the gorge. Flooding of the river has bleached the walls white over time – an intriguing sight that makes it popular with photographers. Board a unique cruise and learn about the indigenous Banuba people in the area, hear timeless stories from the Dreamtime, discover surprising bush medicines and view sacred sites as the towering Geikie Gorge rock-face passes by. Return to Broome and arrive at the iconic Cable Beach Club Resort and Spa, boasting a spectacular setting with gently swaying palm trees. Settle in to your room or relax at the Sunset Bar and Grill to capture the sunset.

Day 12. Lacepede Islands

Head back to the ship for a presentation into the intriguing and exhilarating Kimberley coast before enjoying dinner on board.

Day 13. Buccaneer Archipelago, Talbot Bay, Horizontal Falls
Enjoy the idyllic white sands of Silica Beach before heading out through the Buccaneer Archipelago towards the stunning Talbot Bay. Described by Sir David Attenborough as ‘one of the greatest natural wonders of the world’, experience the dramatic Horizontal Falls aboard an exhilarating Zodiac ride. A real highlight of your journey, witness the intense 12-metre tidal currents rushing through two narrow coastal gorges.

Day 14. Ruby Falls, Raft Point
Cool off with a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters of the soothing and secluded Ruby Falls of Red Cone Creek. Back on board, you will travel through the stunning Kuri Bay to Raft Point. Located at the southern entrance to Doubtful Bay, Raft Point is one of the most spectacular anchorages in the Kimberley. Board the Xplorer excursion vessel to discover the region’s mysterious Wandjina rock art and the intriguing Bradshaw Gwion Gwion paintings.

Day 15. Doubtful Bay, Montgomery Reef
Cruise through the dramatic Doubtful Bay, with cliffs rearing from the sea and cascading waterfalls plunging into the ocean below. Explore the spectacular natural phenomenon of Montgomery Reef and watch in wonder as the reef is revealed with the falling tide. As Australia’s largest inshore reef, a stunning array of marine life is on offer here. Be sure to keep an eye out for whales, dolphins, turtles, manta rays, black tipped reef sharks and dugongs, who are all known for roaming these pristine waters.

Day 16. Prince Regent River, King Cascades
Board the Xplorer excursion vessel to get closer to the spectacular, terraced King Cascades. Cruise up Prince Regent River to Camp Creek where you will receive refreshments. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to take a dip in the magical freshwater pools.

Day 17. Careening Bay, Bigge Island
Travel to Careening Bay and visit the iconic double-trunked boab tree bearing the engraving ‘HMC Mermaid – 1820’. Carved by one of the crew, the inscription commemorates the site where the ship was grounded and repaired. Explore the stunning rock formations and ancient Aboriginal art of Bigge Island accompanied by a knowledgeable guide. Their insightful commentary about this mesmerising Indigenous rock art and the area’s natural features really connect you with the land, bringing this spellbinding part of Australia to life.

Day 18. Hathaway’s Hideaway, Beach Barbecue
Anchor in Winyalken Bay and head to the mysterious natural winding maze of sandstone caves known as Hathaway’s Hideaway. In the evening, indulge in a delicious gourmet beach barbecue under the stars, showcasing the region’s finest produce.

Day 19. Vansittart Bay, Jar Island
Head out on foot across the sand flats of Vansittart Bay to view the wreckage of the US Air Force DC3 plane that crash-landed on the beach during WWII. Later, guest lecturers will guide you through the Aboriginal art of Jar Island, providing an exceptional insight into indigenous culture.

Day 20. King George River and Falls
Explore the luscious landscape of the secluded Tranquil Bay and take a stroll along the pristine beach. Discover gorges carved by the force of the mighty King George River, which plunges an incredible 80 metres over a sandstone cliff into tidal waters to create the magnificent King George Falls. Cruise to the base of this spectacular Kimberley treasure and be awed by the highest waterfall in Western Australia. Afterwards, say farewell to your new friends at a Farewell Dinner this evening as your Kimberley adventure draws to a close.

Day 21. Disembark Ship, Darwin
